I know, it’s too late for that. But this is my first post for the new year, so the title stays. So many things have happened between this post and the last, and all I have to show for it are a lot of unfinished drafts. Why is it so hard to keep updating your blog?
Right now, I’m back to work. The past days, I’ve managed to clean my room up, finish the single-player campaign for Call of Duty 4 and Rome: Total War, and exploded tons of firecrackers last New Year’s Eve. New problems have cropped up, but I hope that I’ll be up to the task of dealing with them.
For computer-related posts, I discovered a very fine site that I’m going to add to my blogroll. It has all sorts of advice on how to tweak your PC and popular games to deliver the best possible performance. I am also pleased at its simple guides that explained so many things I didn’t know about the technical aspects of computer games. The site is awesome and very helpful. I wanted to post some of his guides, but I’m not sure that he’d like that, so go there yourself instead.
Also, I’ve finally sent an email to Inno3D for help on my graphics card. All my tinkering around hasn’t helped resolve my problem with the distorted graphics even if my system is well above the minimum requirements of the games I play. I’ll try to be more detailed tomorrow.
